Different publisher though please, wouldn't want to see the same case as NMH1+2 again.

NMH1+2 Steam ports are complete disasters that are filled with issues and lack of basic features which haven't been patched despite the promises.

Probably would be anyway. The original publishers were Warner and Kadokawa, and the news was broken by the old head of Kadokawa who's at Dragami now. If I had to guess, my money would be on a whole different crew behind whatever is happening with LC.

I do hope it's just a port so I can almost fully retire my 360. I keep it close in case I need to check on anything in LC and Black Knight Sword. BKS needs to come back too. Sine Mora gets all the love, but it was part of a two-game partnership with BKS.

And they still can't even be played offline.

Second that with all my heart. But a decent PC port would be good for a change.

Apparently some songs will be changed since they won't buy the license again, and visuals will go for a more "real" look.

I never played the original so I've no idea what to expect, but I can at least hope someone competent is gonna publish it this time.

OMG THERE IS A REMAKE?

I'm really afraid of this remake, just look at all censorship with remakes and new stuff, this game was very politically incorrect.

Kinda hoped for a port, not a remake.

I still have the original on my 360 in the living room right now. Its very quirky and just.. out there. A whole family of zombie assassins and at the center of it is a ditsy blonde chainsaw wielding cheerleader that preforms magic on her boyfriends head to keep him alive after he got bit in the middle of a zombie outbreak caused by a nerd that got bullied.
I recall the game being somewhat clunky and slow in terms of how it controlled. Light and heavy attacks and some just very broken power attack combos that could be abused heavily.
But it had some good humor. Nick realizing hes just a head was a pretty funny bit I recall.

Yeah I know. I had an Xbox 360 and I wanted to play it but couldn't because my Xbox 360 got hit with the Red Ring of Death. I still have tears when I get reminded of it.
