Night too dark, Days too short

There really should be an option to extend the length of the day. I have a condition with my eyesight where I can't see if it's even a little dark in the game. This means as soon as it starts to get dark in the game I have to go back to base and sleep and then stand around until it gets light out.

Because the days are so short I'm constantly stooping whatever quest I'm doing to sleep, or even worse, if I'm in the middle of a enemy's base I end up just standing there waiting for morning.

Most survival games that I play have an option to adjust the length of the day/night cycle. I've had fun playing but have gotten increasingly frustrated having to stop my game play to wait out the night.

I have issues as well with how dark it gets at night. Most of the time while it's dark I end up crafting stuff to sell since I dont have a crafter employee yet.

build a bed, hit E to use it, the night is immediately over, have tons of apples or cooked food and drinks to eat/drink when you wake up, solved :) but the days do need to be a bit longer, a little bit anyway, I have tried to carry a lantern, no good, maybe have a belt lantern would be nice with a larger radius, that would be very nice, then i could hunt all night long if I wanted

I have a bed roll, and have slept once, but I hate the wasted time....I like to be productive lol.
