Some ideas out of the box:
- Added to NPC shops: "Premium" ornamental stuff (like gold/silver/platin statues)
- Added to NPC shops: Rare recipes for more furniture
- New NPC: Expensive "Lottery Tickets" or "Lootboxes" that have a very low chance to aquire items/recipes you can't aquire otherwise and give you just random other loot starting from fibers up to giving cool furniture/equipment
- Added to Research: "Unlimited" Research to improve your chance to craft better quality items (Increasing the chance just a little bit each time, but with each time the price increases exponentially)
- Added to anvil: "Reforge" - Don't like the stats on some legendary thing? Reforge it (new random values), but the price increases exponentially with each attempt. The starting price depends on the rarity and base price of the item. A common bamboo bag starts at like like 500, but a legendary samurai armor might cost 10000 in the first attempt.
There are more for sure, but that's what comes into my mind for stuff that could extend the current feature set, but also doesn't feel inbalanced if you have to throw massive amounts of money on it.
