the dude in the village just applies a sharpness enchantment. 40%dmg "high tier" you get higher tier items by farming them as drops for the corresponding npc that drops them or by making said item repeatedly, im not even sure if the legendary status on a workbench increase "tier" odds when crafting. i think its just a modifier for dmg, sell value.
the fire is new to me. might see if it adds on to the stack of buffs on my zero iron.
One thing that intrigues me, haven't really tried, was seeing if i can buff a ammo stack, then maybe my shots can do more?
As other means of upgrades, there is.. clothing that can boost atk, movement speed (it really does speed up your atk)
