The seed drops were rebalanced sometime in the last year.
The tips I have to get more seeds are:
- Stumps of trees are more likely to drop seeds than the trees themselves
- The Bamboo Scythe has an increased seed drop chance so if you use it to harvest your crops, you're more likely to get more seeds back
There are also some NPC shops where you can buy seeds if you're running low. I hope this helps!
So far the ratio is 1-2 seeds for every 8-9 bamboo clumps which is.......not sustainable.
I'd hazard a guess that having employee's gather materials is the intended progression at this point.
But you are right that once you get to a certain scale of resources, employees are probably the way to go.
Ok thanks, I'll have a fiddle and see whats what.
I haven't found a vendor selling them and the return on harvesting is woeful.
Those ones are intended to be rare as their harvest is so powerful and profitable. I would consider adding a vendor for them if that's something players want.
For the mushrooms, sending a gatherer to collect them ends up with substantially more than the 12 plot of glowing mushrooms I tried farming and has no limits on return bar employee wages.
Thanks for the feedback though! I hope we'll have some good improvements for you in the future. Let me know if you have any other feedback for us.
