Gathering Employees and Metal
Can gathering employees not gather metal? I've unlocked the dojo shop plot which has given my gathering employees access to the quarry, which I know contains carbon iron ore. However, my gathering employees despite having level 100 gathering still can't gather carbon iron ore there. What gives?

the quarry doesn't offer iron ore as a collectible for employees as far as I am aware.
