Shop plots as business competitors

I've heard many times that competition is good for business. However, there's very little business to compete with on the island, so I had an idea I wanted to share. What if the shop plots you can purchase already had other businesses there instead of being empty lots? Some of them could even be themed around the factions in the game depending on where the plots are located, like a Ronin-themed tower at the Dojo shop plot or an Outlaw-themed store at the Hillside shop plot. With the current building system, you could easily demolish the structures to make your own mark on the plot once you've unlocked it and get some building materials in the process.

Actually, i found a ronin shop nearby the dojo. and it's guarded by small fry ronin and a really big boar. Inside the barricaded perimeter, It had bamboo clothe racks, log displays, bamboo vendor along with plenty of counter with register on it.
Techinically they are competitors. Until you show up that is.

I mean you can play with friends and each person gets their own plot. And its a free for all fun competition. As thats what weve done on one of our game saves.
But i think with the dedicated servers coming in that could be more of a possibility hopefully for more people to be able to join in on it
