shop not running while away
are shops only supposed to be functional when the player is in the vicinity? if so, then I don't see much point in going through the hassle of setting up employees.

I went away to get loot then I fast travelled back to see that my funds haven't moved much at all.

if this is a bug then I understand, development is a process and this is early access so. still loving the game, though.

Hey Tools Guy-Kun!
Sorry that you had this issue. There is a bug in the current build where if you have chairs in your shops, your employees will over-prioritize resting in the chairs over working in your shop while you are gone. This results in them making much less money than they should while you are away.
This issue will be fixed in the next update! In the meantime, you can try removing all of the chairs or other sitting locations in your shop while you are away and the employees should make much more money.
Thanks for your patience and for playing Saleblazers!

awesome, thank you so much for getting back to me as soon as you did! love how active you guys are with the community. and I'm definitely loving this game despite its drawbacks.

bonus question: where is a reliable place to deliver feedback? are the steam forums good enough or should I join any communities to get my feedback across?

thanks again.

Yeah absolutely! I'm always happy to help and I love interacting with the community.

The Steam forums are a great place for feedback! We also have feedback and other discussion forums on our discord: https://discord.gg/saleblazers
Which some people prefer and is better for sharing images with your post. But we check both places!

There's also the in-game report an issue button in the ESC>Settings>Help menu which is super useful for sending in your save file if you ever experience a bug. So you can send us feedback or bug reports on there without even having to leave the game!

Thanks for wanting to be involved in improving the game.
