Where is the manual save game option?

I've loaded my games like 3-4 times so far and each time it says "I didn't properly log off/quit etc..." then it has a pop up asking if I wanted to load the previous save or previous manual save. And I cannot find this ^^;;;

To save this do you have to hit ` (backquote) and then type savegame? or is there another way?

You should be able to save properly if you just quit to title or exit to desktop with the ESC menu. The savegame console command is for development purposes only.

I tested what you said -> I always get the error when I quit to desktop but I do not get he error if i go to title screen.

I've also always gotten the error with one of my saves, regardless of how close out (title or straight to desktop)

try hitting ` (that's the upper left of the keyboard) it opens a console window then type savegame then try to quit to menu?

I just wanted update today, my co-op game got deleted because of a save error.

I always do the ` savegame on console. then quit to menu then exit game.
However after last night's patch I loaded in, it asked if I wanted to load the backup file. I said "no", then it set me back at the start of the game with all the world reset. My character was intact just the world was reset fully and the "Recover my world" option didn't work.

I'm not angry or anything as this is early access, and my friends are okay as well. The characters being separate save files was a great idea.

UPDATE: The world said also when we went to continue it, as it started over with Pop Pop's Shop "You will lose the shop at 0 stars" and it stayed up there :D

Hey Thiridian! Sorry this happened to you. Would you be willing to Zip and send your save file folder located at
C:\Users\YOURPCNAME\AppData\LocalLow\Airstrafe Interactive\Saleblazers\Saves\STEAMID to [e-mail].
We can take a look to see if we can recover your save file manually.

Me and friends also found out that a manual save can be done by sleeping in a bed :D
So ` to open console and savegame and sleeping in a bed work. I think the bed save is safer because you won't have an accident with quitting while the game is auto saving.

Yes! We added the saving while sleeping in the bed in the last update, partially because of this thread!
Hopefully this makes it easier to save your game on your terms.

Using the console savegame command can be a little dangerous for overwriting your save if you have multiple saves, so we don't recommend using that. Exiting the game by hitting return to title or now sleeping in a bed are the way to go!

Ahhh! I get it now! That's also why the corrupted file I was keeping on the side suddenly had a last played date change, even though I haven't played it in about a week. :D Thank you so much!

bedroll requires a roof.. i mean i can understand a real bed (frame and matress) needing a roof. but a bedroll? why? that's like camping indoors. we can place it on the grass but can't use it without a roof. smh

How about a Bedroll with a tent? I have seen the the small camping tents while travelling and I thought they might be for sleeping when far away from home.
