I would love to be able to pause the game. Got real life stuff that pulls me away it would be very handy.
We've gotten this request a few times and are evaluating it.
Just got word that we will definitely be adding a pause feature. It will take some time to implement. The reason we don't have it right now is because it might break the game. We need time to test for edge cases.
We are so grateful for everyone who is buying Saleblazers in Early Access and supporting our development financially (and emotionally!) -- it's the least we can do to be as responsive as possible to create the experience players want to have!
guess I'll change the answer too, in case others find the thread
Thank you for acknowledging our hard work! It feels really good to hear <3. We have been patching furiously, but we had to roll back the last two patches (which will go into the next patch). Sorry for the whiplash and rapid development over here -- we want you to have a good experience! We may have to slow our roll a bit and take some more time in between patches to better test them before uploading so we avoid having to roll patches back in the future.
I hope that this becomes a feature as I can't play it until it is!
Not being able to pause seriously limits when I can try this game out.
In a game that's built around time-management, especially.
