How does one get scrap?

i find alot of scrap by breaking wooden boxes even the ones that need lockpicked can be broken

in your inventory there is a bin icon. drag and drop items you no longer need into that and you'll get scarp in return. I think it has to be a useful item though, like a sword or decoration item. pretty sure trash gives nothing

And to make Scrap Bars? i have the STONE FURNACE but i dont see the Scrap Bars.. only 3 plastics.

Thanks man I'm here looking because I did use the trashbin and gave me nothing so I was confused. Good to know trash gives no scrap lol

make the bamboo tool and scrap for like 7 scrap per tool

all weapons clothing and furniture can be scrapped most things in the world like boxes lights etc can be broken with weapons for scrap, when u kill things and you get the death box at the top there is an option to HOLD to scrap and will auto scrap all things able to be scrapped. you can also use the red bin icon in your inventory at the bottom left to scrap items
