dedicated server

Hello, I am interested in this game to play with friends, will there be an option to install a dedicated server via linux to host on a server for myself and friends to access at anytime? or is it limited to running the game and having people join?

Hi, thank you for your interest!

Right now, we don't have support for a dedicated server so you'd have to run the game for people to join.

However, there is a Windows headless dedicated server that I was half-working on which I could continue working on if there was enough interest. I don't know how Linux would work, but I could look into it.

Hopefully as an in-between for now you can at least transfer your character's progress between worlds.

Hello everyone,

I just found this topic and I'm also a fan of dedicated servers. If there is a possibility to set up a dedicated server clint, this would be really interesting. :)
