[Spoiler warning] About some findings i had around
Small Box and Sock?

Sorry if i'm spoiling too much, i'm wondering about these.

In case you don't know: if you keep searching incorrect places in both the kitchen, bedroom and living room, the protagonist starts to find some stuff.

Mostly he will find:

Letter L, X and E, which are probably tips on how to navigate the basement (left, center, east)

There's also some weird stuff in the bookshelf about necropsy books or whatever.

But what got me wondering is the small box you find under the bed and the sock under the plank (both in the bedroom)

Also what the hell is the radio supposed to be. Did anyone translated what they say? i'd say it sounds Russian but i don't want to be insensitive, i don't know which language is that.

Won't comment on the sock/bookshelf ;)

There's easter eggs when you fail with the jumpscare mode, with quotes from other games.

Thanks for playing!

The radio:
It's Russian,
And I can't speak Russian but I think they're numbers (Black Ops 1 flash backs)
There's a "Jumpscare mode" which you unlock after finishing the game the first time
IF you fail at a certain point, you'll get jumpscared (Obviously) and then in the text bar you'll see "204863" it'll repeat 3 times (no noises or sounds'll be playing)
What do they mean? I have no ♥♥♥♥♥♥' idea.

Just Russian digits.
It's even acknowledged by protagonist that he recognizes that as numbers...

I found same stuff. LXE probably helps in basement, just like you said.
I do not have any theory about other elements. Maybe they are loose hints about real plot (in full version).

The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

First, thank you for replying yourselves.

Ooooh right, the P.T. numbers, just like in MGS V.
So that was it? i thought it meant something more, maybe i overthought about it, lmao.

I take it you meant the sock/bookshelf are stuff for the full game, so i'll just wait.

I'm aware of the jumpscares easter eggs by now haha thank you.

That "Spooky's jumpscare Mansion" reference though
This game's really good, and once again proves that you can scare someone with a good story-telling (even though this was just the demo) and not by just putting jumpscares in front of 'em

What you mean, though. This game has a crapload of cheap jumpscares.

In special the bed scene, my wife was watching me play and she got so angry with that part lmao

I dunno if you mean Spooky's Jumpscare Mansion or this game but. The only jumpscare I got In the "Normal Phase" was when you enter the basement, and I agree it wasn't scary that much (Hell I've played Outlast 1/2, it'll take more than that to scare me, but that's beside the point) so would I say this game's full of "Cheap Jumpscares" ? nope not really, maybe like 5 at most (Excluding "Jumpscare Mode")
Speaking about Jumpscare Mode, it wasn't supposed to be scary, maybe it was trying to convey a message, I mean how tf can a potato be scary?

I had a player tell me he spent 8 hours trying to decipher the code of the numbers... Felt SO BAD when I had to tell him it didn't mean anything in the demo! will try to have something there for you to figure out in the full game!

Jesus. People sometimes act like everything is an ARG.
Thank you for participating in the discussions. Can't wait for the full game.

BED, not Bad.
Finish the game getting all the 5 vegetables and you'll eventually see it.

To get it you just have to say that you "don't want to play hide and seek anymore" after finding Cabbage. This will take you directly to the basement. You will get the "You were having a nightmare" achievement.
To me it was quite shocking, but still cheap...
