Yes. Like the link I posted explains, the first relic costs 3, the second 6 (so two relics cost 9), the third 9 (so three relics cost 18) ..... the ninth 50 (so nine relics cost 215), and the tenth 50 (so ten relics cost 265).
(The price goes up until the 8th relic, and from then on it stays at 50).
So if you buy 10 relics at once, they will cost 265 diamonds. But if you buy 1 relic per day over 10 days, they will only cost 30 diamonds.
(The "buy 10 at once" is new in this update, right? Haven't noticed it before. Extremely confusing to players, when that relic price mechanism isn't explained anywhere in game.)
Ah, ok. Thanks. :)
And yes, it's confusing.
Log into the game and it's there. This is a server-based game, it will load the update when you start it.
Actually Mickmane below is right, it was both client-side and server-side this time :)
Steam will update the game automatically.
When you set the game to 'only update when I launch it', you'll see it happen the next time you start the game after an update happened. If you didn't change the default setting, it can have happened any time Steam was running (maybe not while you were playing something, there's a setting for that, too).
In-game you should have gotten a message in the mailbox about it, though, and some flags for new stuff on the battle button.
