Entbrats

I have been trying to breed Entbrats. Previously, I was breeding from a level 5 T'Rox and a level 5 Potbelly. Breeding chances were okay, a little under 50 percent. When I read that increasing the monster's level increased breeding chances, I leveled my monsters to level 10. Breeding chances have dropped significantly. It is really hard to breed an Entbrat now. Why?

how do you see breeding chances or were you just averaging an entbrat every other attempt? if you had that high of breed rate, you were just lucky, its not normal.

Likely you read the tipp at the start of the game. All you can do here is trust, because, why would devs write wrong info there?

And yea, what feriouscleric said. how do you even figure chances? You would need a TON of tries.
Say, you do 100 attempts and write all down, to see a tendency of chances. Now even if there was a 50% chance to get Entbrat (likely it is lower) one player doing this still might get Entbrat 60 times, another only 40 times in a 100 tries. And the lower chances are, the more tries you would need to rule out luck and make both their numbers move closer together.

And now this is not even about figuring the base chance, but the difference in breeding with level 5 or level 10 monsters. If this chance goes up like 5% only - what could well be - it is impossible for a single player to figure any difference in numbers, just by looking at the outcome. Because such small differences in chances would only show in 10000s of tries. Nevertheless they are there.

I started this game on the 13th of May. 60 hours so far. Had 8 Entbrats already since a few days ago. Probably even before the beginning of June. No I wasn't writing down anything on paper for data. It just seemed very easy to get the 8 that I had. It was like I was getting an entbrat every other attempt.

Tipps: Yes, the hints which appear on the loading screen, every time you start the game... one of them is that monsters have higher breeding chances when you level them up. Think it's also in the info/help text of breeding station somewhere. We do not know if it matters all the way to 20, though, or by how much.

About the rest, that is all psychology, likely, just like so many say during events ooooh I got this and that just yesterday and now chance should be higher I get nothing. Own impression is tricky though, specially with lack of data.
I have nothing to do on plant/mirror plant but to breed entbrats to sell them. Yes they are easy, but I zap so many noggins in between, don't think it's 50%. But that is again just a guess.

i know for a fact that im nowhere near 50% for entbrat breeding. not that im doing it everyday, but for the last one (first and only on mirror plant), i failed at least 7 or 8 times and i never breed with anything less than a level 10. i had so many potbellies from failed attempts that they almost drowned out the rest of the song.

Then you're VERY lucky. I have two entbrats, and when I try to use one to breed a Ghazt, I always wind up with a T-Rox instead, never an Entbrat.

Btw, @123, it's "Tip" or "Tips." There's no such word as "Tipp" or "Tipps."

an hour and a half on a potbelly with the sped up breeders, i check fairly frequently anyways as we discussed before (or did, but now i have work to do), so not a big deal to me. the t-roxes can be used for a zynth farm on a fail whereas unless you want to waste precious wublin real estate, you could be stuck with the bowgarts. i dont have quite enough room left on my wublin isle for a bowgart egg eater, but maybe others do.

Yah it totally depends on your rl and progress... I am done with my Zynth farm since a long time now. And I bred Entbrat & T-Rox for those before, that always gives T-Rox.
But I also can not login every 1.5h, so noggin-combos is the way to go now, for me.

And pressing thumbs that there is soon a chance to get a rare entbrat somehow, then 100% combos won't be a problem anymore ;-)
