Thoughts on wublin prices?
I really wish that the devs would make wublins other than zynth & brump easier to get. Like the wublin island is amazing but its so much more efficient to do zynth farming than to get the other monsters. I feel like they should probs make zynths a little pricier and all the other monsters cheaper, cause honestly some of the requirements are kinda crazy. I really want to get the other wublins, but what's the point?

You get to make a choice, just like on every other island. Pretty and one of everyone, or well-earning and lots of the same monster.

What's stopping you? I'm waking up one of each (most of them aren't too difficult, and once you have the rare natural quads they're all easy) and have filled most of the rest with zynths, and I'm perfectly happy like that :)

Exactly this.

Do the other wublins have a higher pay out? Because that would be a point.
yunusemredilek May 31, 2021 @ 11:04am
Honestly, all Wublins are pretty easy to wake up and it only gets easier every time a new island has more natural monsters to breed. If you find Wublins hard to complete, you don't even want to check out Celestial monsters any time soon.

It seems to be the same for every Wublin.

If the pay outs were higher for the more difficult ones then perhaps people would have incentive to wake them up, otherwise it makes sense to have a zynth farm, unless people are going for the look or the song.

if you want to buck convention and not make a zynth farm, you can always make a thwok farm since they take up the same amount of space and you can feel fulfilled on the challenge it took you to do so.

you should really stop trying to shut down a meta that you dont like so that other people play the game how you want or think it should be played. if you dont like it dont do it, but dont advocate for taking away something that other people like especially when what tohers do has absolutely no bearing on you. whats next? banning soft drinks in ultra large sizes because you think people shouldnt be allowed to buy sugar?

I'm gonna put all my replies in 1 post so I don't spam the thread

I dont think the devs should ruin zynth farming, I use a zynth farm and so do all my friends who play this game. I honestly like zynth farming and I think it's cool that it's possible. I just think that the devs should try to balance things out more for some of the other monsters. You only need cold & plant island for zynths and you can easily make 1 or more a day.
I regret saying they could make zynths pricier, cause on second thought I don't really want them to nerf the Zynth requirements. I was thinking like an extra maw/drumpler at the time of posting, but thats not really necessary. Sorry about that lol

I think that the other wublins are super difficult to get, but I think that most are comparatively much harder than zynth. Zynths only take 2-3 elements from the first two islands, and it's not really viable to get anything else before you've unlocked all the islands. I think it would be cooler if there were more wublins that didn't take water/earth quads, then you could make more than just zynths and maybe brumps while you're still progressing. Maybe it's just cause Im still catching up to my mobile save, idk.

I agree somewhat, though it could just shift the meta onto more expensive monsters. There still wouldn't be much variety with the order you get the wublins in, though I think this would be cool.

I'm honestly fine with the Celestial island. They're clearly geared towards high level players, and the majority of them require you to use one single complete island for breeding, which is a pretty interesting gimmick imo. I guess I don't like how many gems they take to take, but that's doesn't have

Don't get me started on that! My city tried that a few years ago (not banning giant drink sizes, but adding a sugar tax to all non-diet drinks), and there were protests, and sales of drinks in the city and surrounding suburbs plummeted because people were not only going to other counties, but other states (there are three states people can travel to in a short time frame, depending upon which area of the county people live in) to buy their sugar drinks where there were no sugar taxes. And those of us from other counties who traveled into this county, simply brought their own drinks into restaurants, etc., so they wouldn't have to pay the sugar tax. After three or four months of this, the city/county announced that they would repeal the tax at the end of December, so the tax lasted for about five months total.

Anyway, I agree. Don't make others suffer because you don't like the way something works re: the Wublins. I chose to use the Zynths for two reasons. The first being that when I started buying Wublins, I didn't have many islands (I still really don't) and the Zynths are the easiest to wake up without requiring water monsters, etc. and I was having enough trouble trying to breed the monsters needed for just the Zynths (this was after trying to wake up two of the Brumps which I found most difficult to do), and the second reason is as others said, they produce a decent amount of diamonds. Now, this I have not so far found to be true, but I am getting a lot of needed food and shards, so I'm happy with that. The diamonds, when they appear, are a bonus.

I do not think that they should nerf zynths

At what point did I ever say they should? I like that they're easy to awaken and that they yield a lot of shards and food.
