Why cant i get a Ghazt? I have been breeding T-Rox and Entbrat, which is supposedly the best combination. So... In conclusion... HELP ME PLEASE!

People in the Nethack community will inform you that to hack has in fact nothing to do with cheating. That definition just relatively recently turned up with the word being repeatedly used for something it doesn't actually mean.

For Nethack it comes from "A quick and inelegant, though functional solution to a programming problem."

Best advise I have is wait for a breeding event, the chance is 5 times higher then, and with fully lit torches it gets even more likely. Most people get their Ethereals from there, got 4/5 myself during an ethereal event.

Apart from that if you still build a zynth farm just keep combining the combos on cold and plant to fill it, costs nothing since you need congles and t-roxes anyway and you might get a Ghazt outside events.

PS: Also I read in a report that there are sometimes "unannounced" events (glitches in the rng) where the ethereal chance seems to be suddenly higher for everyone. At these times many players reported successes, simultaneously. This was for mobile, but might be same on steam so it doesn't hurt trying especially if you can use the failed outcome for other things.

I did it once for the Goal, as that paid back 2 diamonds. I need my diamonds for other stuff.

I had all my torches lit but I wanted to get a t-rox so I could start on my zynth farm so I bred an entbrat and t-rox hoping it would fail and give me a t-rox but instead I got a ghazt LMFAO. so its all luck tbh.

Ghazt itself is incredibly rare, last time I checked it was like in like the 5% range, even with those combinations. Personally I'd wait for one of those ethereal breeding event thingies (one recently just passed), or have some friends light the wishing torches

i got 3 ghazts on the same day with all my torches lit, and every other ethereal apart from humbug and jeeode since it was a breeding bonanza and i happened to have alot of diamonds at the time, the breeding bonanzas give your like 300% chance to get them or smth so try wait then!
