Colosseum side quest?

Ive tried this twice but how damn long is this? Both of my attempts were over 40 minutes each, and I was clearing the enemies quickly.

Has anyone done this and if so how long did it take?

My guess is you end up seeing every normal mob in the game eventually. I took forever too and didn't finish...one of these days though lol.

What quest is this and how do you get it? I thought I had all side quests but I never got the achievement, so maybe this is what I'm missing.

After you finish Fire Temple, you talk to Melian in town. I eventually got through, but it's crazy long, and I had to use pretty much all of my healing, and a couple soul rings besides to make it through. I wouldn't mind so much if so many of the waves weren't so ungodly boring. They really don't need filler content in something so long. So you Spend like 2 or 3 minutes just fighting a completely pointless wave of slimes, then one of the obnoxious tentacle jerks teleports in your face, stuns you and kills you from full health.

Take my advice, it is NOT WORTH IT. Your rewards are 35k gold, which really after a certain point money is downright worthless to you, and a new sub-weapon. Its a bow that shoots an arrows straight ahead about a second after being summoned. Also I don't think you gain any xp during the entire fight, with how long it was I didn't level up once.

Having a side quest to be harder than anything else in the game is kinda.... meh. Still missing the side quest and sub weapon achievement. Some day i will beat it. Best i could do was the Dragon + 2 Lizzard spawn.

you know you are near the end when the poison mist is out and there's only a small circle of safe space in the middle.

I agree that this is excessively long and gets boring and tedious. The rewards are not worth the effort, but if you want to collect all subweapons there is one there (which isn't useful either)

assuming that small circle actually exists! Mine doesn't and I keep getting poisoned to death!
