With Steam, you have 1000~1100 online at peak hours in EU.
With official launcher, around 300-500.
Epic Games, probably 100.
GeForceNow, unknown to say.
If you truly want to progress in this game, PvE-wise, you need to join a guild.
PvP, don't bother if you are NA. EU PvP scene is very active from what I heard.
Dang, Such a shame Wuxia games aren't popular in Western culture,
I'm not usually into PvP honestly I just don't want the game world to be empty
Then yeah, the population is small. The most times you will see people is if you are in Cloudrise (main city hub) or when doing weeklies.
Fair enough. I'll play it for a few hours and see how things feel. I'm stupidly chasing the glory days of Age of Wushu
Nothing to keep you from trying though, just saying how it will probably turn out, like it did for the majority of initial players.
