do you have to?! Can't you take the same files from the Beta > tell Steam where the files are located > and "update/verify" the game?!
So it only has to download the missing files?
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Swords of Legends Online Beta"
into the directory of
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Swords of Legends Online"
And then you might also need to mess with the app manifest in the steamapps directory and find the app manifest of "Swords of Legends Online" and not the Swords of Legends Online Beta" and edit it. You'd have too change the app manifest's stateflags to 4. Which would essentially trick steam into thinking the game is properly and normally installed when you boot steam back up.
Then finally, after you've done all that. You'd boot steam back up and verify the integrity of the game files and hope for the best. Speeds will vary depending on whether you have the game on an SSD or not and what your SSD's speed is. I have an M.2. SSD type thingy and relatively slow internet speed. So I may try doing this.
Edit: I have a lot of experience transferring over Steam games through USB sticks. So that's why I'm guessing this is how you'd do it in SOLO's case.
