ohhh i see, thank you for the answer!!!
Is this a normal thing?
some eastern mmorpg have it but personally i can't really think of a good reason for having it
People seriously need to understand what an MMO is, this isn't VRchat.
its a mmorpg which stands for massively multiplayer online role-playing game
roleplaying:
Role-playing is the changing of one's behaviour to assume a role, either unconsciously to fill a social role, or consciously to act out an adopted role. While the Oxford English Dictionary offers a definition of role-playing as "the changing of one's behaviour to fulfill a social role",[1] in the field of psychology, the term is used more loosely in four senses:
To refer to the playing of roles generally such as in a theatre, or educational setting;
To refer to taking a role of a character or person and acting it out with a partner taking someone else's role, often involving different genres of practice;
To refer to a wide range of games including role-playing video game (RPG), play-by-mail games and more;
To refer specifically to role-playing games.[2]
You know some peoples play together right ? like real couple or maybe friends who can like to have some "advantage" when playing together.
Some marriage system will help them to have some "bonus" like mounts, minions, instant teleportation to their partner or sometime exp buff, etc...
wow doesn't have marriage
Tell me an MMO where you can roleplay as a Half godzilla half unicorn.
This is an MMO, not VRchat.
- this is a MMORPG and not just a MMO.
- you are being really specific there but there used to be a ''my little pony'' mmorpg.
not sure why you seem to think that only VRchat has social aspects, mmorpgs had these systems before a single code of VRchat got written.
Judging from what i can find right now the first mmorpg that had a wedding system is a mmorpg from 1997 called Meridian 59.
