black desert online has farming aswell, we do have housing tho but i don't think the game has farming

It makes it pretty obvious that many people here have no idea what chinese historical games are all about. Cultivation is not a farming lol. And yeah, leveling, gaining ranks and doing specific quests counts as cultivation here.

I think the op asked about chinese "cultivation" this concept by which humans can extend their lifespan and gain supernatural powers through practicing a set of martial and mystical arts involving meditation and the cultivation of Qi.

Or maybe he asked about "cultivation" this other word for "farming" ?

In the context of the game I would lean towards taoist cultivation than farm cultivation

I think he is talking about the chinese idea of cultivation that is common in wuxia and xianxia stories. Usually any stories involving the world of jianghu or magical martial arts cultivation is involved.
