Fast Travel?

I just want to get back to Cloud Rise because I have a quest there, but I don't know how the fast travel system works. I'm in that second region you get to, there's a village and a bunch of zombies around, and I've kinda been stuck there.

There are plenty of options to get around. There are travel 'gates' within each region which will take you to an adjoining region, so you can 'walk' your way back. There is the cirus drive that you get from a quest (can't remember which one) that will take you to any point on the map. There is the 'return to training' hall thing, again something you get from one of the earlier quests, once you return to your training hall there is a Cloud Rise 'gate' there, and a 'travel' map that you can use to get around.

There are also some interesting travel options around the place, like in the Zhongnan Foothills you can take a boat to Shanghuai Grasslands. This is really cool because you can use this to get you there before the main story line takes you there, so you can use this to cash in one of the daily fishing quests at beginner level :) - nice find Einstein!

Thanks, gates sound like my best option. Do you know where there's a gate in the Valley of One Hundred Grasses? I have the map in front of me right now and there's nothing that says gate on it.

That is the starter region, and you first need to complete the early quests there to open the gate to Cloud rise. Once in Cloud rise you will find the first region travel board and a quest will get you to use it.

If you haven't made it out of the Valley of One Hundred Grasses you wouldn't have unlocked some of the other modes of travel that I mentioned above.

Keep following the main quest line, you'll get there. Enjoy.
