MAP25 - Cosmos Betwixt Glitched

First playthrough of Shrine II after playing through the first one. Got through the first 24 maps with no issues. When I load into Map 25, the map looks nothing like what it's supposed to. It's all random bits of texture, odd placement, and an impassible wall right before the chess board at the end. I know, I know, the map is supposed to look kinda crazy, but I looked up a walkthrough for that level and my version looks completely borked compared to what it's supposed to be. I tried to go back to a save right before and load the map again and the same thing happens. Do I need to create a new game to fix this? Uninstall and reinstall? Or is there another fix? Has anyone encountered this before?

Unfortunately it's a current version of 1.7 so therefore some couple maps will look different and no it won't change a thing at all. Reinstall won't do anything & you don't need to create a new game in anyway. It's just the way it is. I do agree that Map 25 is easily the worst map ever. Heck I even stated it before that you can't get Soul Secret here at all except by using cheats and even then there's no way out of there so this level was somehow unfinished if I recall. But, have no fear, version 2.0 is coming hoping by 2021 somewhere. I didn't even get to play this old version either but, what can I do.

Damn. So, I'm stuck with no way to progress until version 2.0? Like I said in my post, the exit seems to be blocked by an invisible wall, though maybe I can get past with cheats. Any guidance on a cheat that would get me to the next map so I can at least play the rest of the game?

Invisible wall may be true, but you have to keep pressing alt fire for your claw to reach that final chess platform and if so you can just skip fighting monsters and enter that place to exit either left or right is fine.
