My cow disappeared

It's been quite some (in-game) days that my cow is not appearing anywhere in my barn and on the field. I left the barn door open and any animal should go back at night and reappear in the barn in the morning, right? But my cow is not reappearing and the barn animal list still has it ("Maverick").

Hi, I have been roaming the field for other animals too so it being stuck somewhere in the field and not found by me in many consecutive days are not very probable. I donno about other places in town coz you don't allow animals to go elsewhere, right? I'd suggest a position reset/respawn for all animals at day start. Also, it would be nice if I could reset position/put into sleep any selected animal in the barn animal list. Relying on Unity physics may not be the most stable way to manage inventory.

Upgraded to the latest version, I can hold cancel on the barn position of my cow and bring it back to my bag. However, when I put that back to the upper left position in the small barn, it soon starts moving up into the wall and disappears. The cow hasn't go outside, just disappeared. I have to redo the cancel and put it back and walk out of the barn immediately. The cow then move out of the barn correctly through the opened door.

Thanks for addressing these bugs. You've created a very enjoyable game. I hope the dev work is enjoyable to you too.
I missed a ton of milk coz of my missing cow but good to have it back now so no worries.
I see you are updating the game quite frequently so if I find anything new about the cow barn I will let you know.
BTW, I spent like 30K on a colorful small horse from Daisy's but it can't fit in the small barn. It would be nice for Daisy to remind me of that when I make a big purchase. A tooltip on each item in the animal shop list would be nice. Type (not just name) of animal, basic product and living conditions are essential information especially for the big price tag items.

I've found it doesn't happen if I don't close the barn/coop doors. If I close the barn/coop door at night and open it the next day - the animals go AWOL.

Edit/update: Had no cows go missing for some time, even without touching the doors - another cow started to go missing - at least this time it was just one.

Still seeing this bug - I've lost two cows and my alpaca and goose have wandered through the fence. (Still love the game though!)
