Suggestion: Please think about tweaking the flutterfly spawn rate
I just started playing yesterday and I think this game is pretty good. One think I think would be helpful is if there were a few more flutterflies around to catch. I've been looking for them for 3 days to fulfill a quest. I saw only one but it was in an area I couldn't reach, even with the fishing rod.

Perhaps I'm just having some bad luck. But I would appreciate it if they were a bit easier to find.

You'll see a lot more once you cut down trees and get rid of a lot of grass. They can be really hard to see with wind animation going on and some of them are pretty small.
I've noticed first time players on Youtube miss nearly all the bugs for a while. Part of it also is running so fast from place to place you've got that focus but the periphery can just escape you.

it didn't occur to me to attack the trees and grass off of my own farm, but then I did just start playing. I'll give it a shot, thank you.

Don't go overboard, of course. You're definitely going to need some trees to tap. Keep some of each kind of tappable tree. But you can also cut down trees and grass around town. You'll find a lot of mushrooms behind trees, too. I cut down a lot of the ordinary trees like pine, box, maple and bobby and fern trees around town. Keep fruit trees and the more unusual ones for now.

Thanks for the advice. I did get told by my chat to not chop down the valuable trees, and I just planted a nice little tree orchard on my farm. I love the way it looks, can't wait for it to grow in. Thanks again!
