How does one get White Wood and Dark Wood?

The only time I was ever able to get these types of Wood was by cutting Stumps that never respawned that blocked entrances to areas.
I can only assume those two types of Wood come from specific trees that one cannot find around town, since I've used my Green Pixies on every tree type and never got an any of those two types of wood (though I've never used my Pixies on Fruit trees).
Any ideas where these two types of wood can be acquired from?
I got more normal wood than I need right now. I need White Wood and Dark Wood.

At the side of Dawn's Shop, and south of the Town's Pixie Shrine, near a bench and waterfall.

Both need the green pixies to get the wood. ( To confirm, you know where to collect the wood, right?)
