Suggestions, Issues and Requests
I'd like to outline some issues, suggestions and requests for potential updates :) They're not intended to be taken as an insult, I do accidentally insult people when I actually intend to inspire or support others :(

Issues:
- lotus pods/pads/flowers don't always align with fishing rods, they can be thrown further than the epic fishing rod can be cast (even with ext mod) and even if you cast it in that exact same place, it still doesn't pick up flowers/lotus pods/lotus pads. Giant lotus seeds don't spawn more giant lotuses and have an insanely low spawn rate.

- Multiples of the same type of tree from being sold in the seed shop

- Items spawning in places that cannot be accessed (unsure if this is intended but it sure is annoying)

- text error on cheese omlette (tatse instead of taste)

Requests:
- A clean up with Hersha's Food Service Quest: one instance where flour is provided to make pizza bases from scratch, instead of the pizza base makes it impossible to get the medium never mind top prize. Another instance where you need to mix a lot of cake base from scratch is too difficult. The kitchen is horrible for this because everything is so sparsely placed that it becomes an extreme walking sim...

- Add museum quest/event/activities to earn museum credits because if you spend all your credits on cards, keys etc you miss out on buying the cosmetic items once you've completed the museum and can no longer acquire credit

- Remove "junk" fish/items from higher tier rod tables. If you want to catch junk, use a lower tier rod... This keeps a purpose for using lower tier rods.

- Ability to plant more cactus plants/increase the frequency of the spawn/reduce cost of flowers for making small health potions. Yes you can buy them from Dawn as a gold sink, but why bother having the recipe if you can just buy it?

- Increase the frequency Daisy sells Spudge/Ponyatas

- Renew the prize cabinets once a season (unsure if they should be doing that already, but they currently don't, have seen them restock but unsure when that should happen)

- add a random reward for the soot puff/restart once you have all the rewards

- Give mobs in the dungeon a delay so that players entering the dungeon have a chance to react. Stop rocks from spawning around doorways which create an instant deathtrap from multiple ranged mobs.

- I would prefer item storage priority to drone storage over pet storage (the amount of times I've wanted to sell stuff when its in my pet's inventory and my pet is busy)

- An option that if you use the right click or action button while holding a stack, you place 1 in your inventory instead of splitting the stack

- hatch a golden goose egg into a golden goose (it still has the usual eggs/chances of a normal goose, just a gold colouring)

- would love an ability to "scatter" seeds (as in drag a square over tilled spots like you do when you get your pet to dig/water spots or run while holding a seed packet)

- deposit all/consolidate stacks from invent to chests button

- Rare trees drop respective sapling/seed if chopped down so its more convenient if you want to move them for aesthetic purposes


Suggestions for more content:
- Free hand slot (a slot on your bar you can't assign anything but you can switch too without any ugly consequences from accidentally using an item/tool.)

- Add hats? Please?

- Would like to see storage furniture like fridges, drawers and wardrobes so that you're not looking at rows and rows of chests. Basically, slap a wardrobe/dresser/fridge skin over a chest. Just so the house feels more of a house and less like a hoard of chests.

- Crafting jewellery with random bonuses (I don't want to scrap my legendary jewellery because I used the wrong mods)

- Add a shed building to store machines, junk, terrariums etc

- Mushroom Logs for cultivating mushrooms
(Some mushrooms are just too rare)

- ponds for breeding fish and/or nets (because finding fish for cooking recipes is a nightmare)

- Seed maker

- wood chipper
for converting excess white/dark wood into standard wood

- item to re-randomise an animals' name (I have two animals named chip with good favourite items) that and people may not like the animals' generated names for whatever personal reason

- Add iron fence recipe (as seen right of the river that runs past Bram's)

- add brick path (made with bricks, already exists as a texture seen southwest of the museum, south of the river where the bridge crosses the river towards Dawn's house

- real world holiday event and themed decorative items
Christmas Tree, Jack-o-lantern, etc

- Seasonal decor
snowman/woman/bunny/characters, beach towel, beach ball, beach umbrella, sand castle

- Outdoor decor
Bird table, bird house, bird bath, scarecrow, low Japanese garden lantern, hammock, campfire,

No need to apologize, some people just don’t like to hear difference of opinions/suggestions. This is a good write up, which I’m sure SH would not turn away, SH is cool like that :cool_seagull: I love the seasonal decor idea because I was wishing for the same things.

I had more money than I knew what to do with at the end of my gameplay. I just bought everything because I got tired of tediously making everything. Endgame just made me feel bleh and I wasn’t even motivated in decorating my fully upgraded house. I already felt burnt out and was more than satisfied with my fully decorated sorted farm layout.

I doubt I will return to this game in the future, but I hope for those who love it and still chuggin’ through it, that many of the bug issues are fixed.

Cabinet Prizes renew once a year and gets increased requirements if it was renewed (+1 prize item needed to unlock it).
You can select one item from a stack by holding Ctrl (not sure on controller). You can get half a stack by holding Shift (not sure on controller).
You can press Right Click on an item on your inventory/chest and they will go to your chest/inventory. (not sure how to do that on controller)
Seed Maker is a late game item.

Most things seen here have already been requested by people here, besides some cosmetic stuff. What I wish is RNG tweaking, change in the Museum Books so they are a guide about each items (e. g. hover over a mushroom and it tells which season the mushroom spawns), being able to cancel a fishing minigame without having to stop the reels, and a walk button, so it's easier to plant seeds and align the character for certain actions like fishing. Diagonal fishing rod throw would be good too, some fish are just in weird places.

The fishing rod request is a bit weird. At one hand, it would be cool to have easier rare fish caught, but on the other hand, it makes no sense. The fishes are randomized. Tweaking the RNG should be enough to not need to carry multiple rods at a time. Not only that, what would be "junk"? Low price fish? Common Fish? Treasure Chest? Keys? Algae? It's quite subjective.

The biggest problem I personally see with this game is how rough it is for non-seasonal players of this game genre in the very beginning of the game-very unintuitive system mechanics. But the problem can also be said about endgame, it becomes too easy. It suffers typical game balancing that’s including RNG rolls.

Again, SH announced this game as cozy, chill and relaxing in the dev vlogs and I viewed it as such. So can’t really blame new players feeling stressed and even mid-game players having repeat complaints-this speaks in volume, which bears repeating so fixes can happen (which we know SH is trying).

Thanks for the help with the controls and other stuff I missed.

I mentioned the rod thing, because once you get the highest tier rod - you still get junk and what I feel too frequently, it doesn't feel rewarding enough after acquiring all the materials for the high tier. There's quite a variety of chances on stuff and 3 years into the game, still not completed my fish collection and this might be a way to solve that. I get what you mean about tweaking the RNG, but if you're hunting a specific fish or just want junk (and yes I meant common fish/small fish, wooden keys/chests, algae). It might mean carrying around more rods, but at the same time if you know what you're angling for you don't need to carry them all at the same time. Other games have changed their tables with rods so that they balance out their RNG and give more rewards to the harder tiers.

Don’t put the trash can near a storage box. I accidentally clicked it and it deleted a non food item. That thing should just be food specific deletion. I can’t tell if it’s just bugged on mine, I’ve lost count how much game bugs is in my game save.

After complete the rocket and alien visiting (Only for 3 days ) I would like to ask for extension to a 1 season month stay so player like me who don't or want to have tons of crafting machine can have enough time to craft item for trading.

Tip (and this works with any resource/crafting game) take a screenshot of the price lists so that you can carry items just by referencing your screenshot. That way you have as much time as you like to acquire what you need for what you want.

I will agree that rebuilding the rocket every single time you want aliens to trade with is just end-game grindy content (why does every game seem to do this?) that a lot of people would like to see the back of, possibly replaced with more rewarding renewable content.
