How does one get Black Bricks? And the Solar Panel?
I have been unable to put together how to get Black Bricks.
The Brick making appears to only make normal Bricks, any and all shells make plain ordinary Bricks.
Black Bricks seem to be a much more advanced complex item, and I would appreciate if someone could provide me much needed advice for making them.
Oh yes, and the Solar Panel also appears to be a much more advanced complex item, in spite of the fact it is needed for one of Amy's earlier projects that are far from the mid-game and late-game projects.
I can only assume the Solar Panel will take a lot of work, since such a high tech object won't be crafted easily, and it likely won't be purchased or found easily.

If you have access to the first dungeon you should be able to do all of that, it just takes some time.

For the black brick first of all, you only need a normal brick and some charcoal ;) use the wood pannel to be able to know what each machine can do and how.

As for the solar pannel you especially need to get (then transform): iron, silk, and a fire tree sap. You should get as many pixies as possible to help you get stuff faster in general
And in the dungeon you can find some special black smooth rocks, which are geodes. You can open them at the blacksmith's and with luck you'll get some malachite.

thank you, shortly after I posted this I found out how to make Black Bricks because I was looking at every sign for every machine to see the instructions, and it really was unexpected when one of the signs said furnaces make Black Bricks... because I really thought it would have been the Brick makers...
That said I am really thankful for you help. I desperately needed to learn the solar panel one, and you provided vital valuable information. It looks like I'll be doing Geode farming for a bit, as I just cleared out the entire dungeon and the chest containing malachite was already opened and I donated the malachite to the museum... mind you I think malachite might actually appear as a drop in Silver and Gold chests fished up while fishing, so I might consider doing fishing in addition to Geode farming, as I found a diverse variety of gemstones in the chests I've fished up.
That said, do pixie offerings include the things I grow on my farm, and maybe things I fish up and catch? Because I might offer some of my excess resources at Pixie Shrines just to get myself some more Pixies.

Pixie offerings are only fruits, animal products, and veggies. No fish, rocks, minerals...etc

Pixie offerings can be fruits, vegetables, mushrooms, farm produce like eggs, or foraged berries.

You're very welcome, and yep like LadyTerra and FunWithEndermen said for the pixies' offerings, stock up on these and maybe put a little chest next to the altars far from your place to get any easily ready when you run by and have you're inventory full of rocks etc.
Good luck!
