What to do with Maximum Eatables??

I picked a new card without realizing it was already maxed out. It says I can still use it with equipment stats but I cannot for the life of me figure out what exactly that means. I tried just sticking on the wall like poster, but also couldn't figure that out either. Any advice would be appreciated

Same here, and with a card I'm sure my character didn't eat before, I'm not sure I even understand what "Maximum Eatables" means ^^" : "maximum reached"? or that we need to level up something before being able to eat this?

Pretty sure you can only sell it. Always good to check your cards first to see if you have not yet reach the maximun number of it.

It means maximum reached. When you get the new patch it has a big sign saying "Maximum" one the one's you can't have more of so you don't waste your money.

I got dinged on this as well. some kind of pop up saying you are maxed in this stat, are you sure?, would be great

It'd be nice if the cards could be reprinted to fix the number of us that have the max eatable ones, as well as an explanation that the warning "max eatable" means that you can't use it. Better yet, it's not purchasable.

It needs to still be purchasable since you can use them as posters :)

I think a recent patch made max eatable on cards shown now before purchase, though I'm not sure if the patch has reached consoles yet?

It maybe hasn't reached console, but it's like that on pc now. Just be careful for a few more days.

This is by far the most annoying part of the game for me. There was an update with a banner saying you reached max on some cards but I just got a fairy card not knowing I could not use it. Why is the card even available if we cannot use them?? In my other play through I opted for the (I believe it was) 64 queue for my pet and I could not even use it. Why is that a card if the max is 45? It does not make sense,

You can increase it with items, so the item uses the current number you have +1 card level in the item card description*.
