Does this game have creepy undertones in it?
From the trailer and the description it seems like the game has some creepy and mysterious undertones. Which is what makes me interested in playing it tbh. So I'm wondering if the game is really like that when you're playing it?

So far - no. I'm in my second year and only the creatures that gently put you to bed if you're out too long might be spooky. Lovely game with so much to do.

Thanks for answering! I didn't notice anything either while playing the demo (besides the ghosts lol). The game was fun though so I bought the full game.

Those spooklets are total psychos. I should be able to stay out all night should I wish >:D

But - if the spooklets don't put you to bed when they do, what might get you instead?

No, it's not creepy. If that's what you're looking for this game is not for you

Pulling an all nighter.
The closest things to spooky is the concept of the player being trapped in a simulation of being a human on a doomed planet called Earth, and that awakening into Everafter Falls after being killed in the simulation might be considered creepy... as well as the countless references to simulations and the fact that the Pixies in the game are pixelated computerized entities, among other oddities like the fact that many people at Everafter Falls have no real memories before arriving to the island and some of the villagers practice some spooky magic among other things, but otherwise there is nothing dark and nothing grim. I don't even find the dungeons too dark or grim in spite of the lack of light and plentiful enemies.
