Unequip or remove support drone?

Anyone know how to unequip your current support drone in order to add more attachments? I've tried clicking and dragging the equipped drone back into my inventory, selecting the drone and hitting F (which usually moves stuff into your inventory), and selecting the drone and hitting C (which is usually how you remove something).

If you have an inventory upgrade you have to empty the drone's inventory before you can remove it

Thank you! This makes sense, but I would have never thought of it.

Hey, thanks for your feedback on this, the drone inventory is supposed to shake when you try to do this indicate it is full but I just tested and it doesn't seem to be working.
I'll make sure the visual feedback is there in the next patch to make this clearer. Thanks for bringing to my attention :)
