any tips on getting the true ending?

any amour suggestions and the like? i've made it to the bomb section. i know for a fact im capable of doing this. a tip any size would be welcome.

When possible take Enchanted Landfill during the Skeleton Key section so that you don't have to deal with Frost Wizzems and Puzzles during the bomb section, don't feel the need to take excess damage just to get to the wall in time, If you loose the Siege bomb at any point normal bombs work just as well.

If you can make it past the bomb section the rest of the true ending is easy, so don't give up!

so i got the true ending, i got the thorough achievement in-game but i didn't get the steam thorough victory achievement because it's bugged. cool. at least i have the golden statue and the in-game achievement

Alternatively take Grub Pit during the Skeleton Key section to try and get Brittle Beetle Barbecue from Gastronomole as you likely won't have time during the bomb section. This gives you 20 extra health and turns your health to shields which can only be refilled with Troupples and the Drill Capsule, but everything does 1 damage including the Omega Saw so you can't be instakilled any more. Then just rush through Magic Landfill with the bomb (there are no dream blocks until level 3 or Scrap Badgers until level 2 at the earliest so you don't have to worry about that).

Grub Pit has some levels with a lot of dirt near locked doors, meaning it can become impossible to reach the door if the bomb destroys too much dirt. That's why I recommend Magic Landfill for the bomb mission.
