softlock problem

the game is literally unplayable. it softlocks you right after you jump in, at the beginning or after a stage or two, you can't really tell when it's gonna happen. it's an absolute chore to enjoy especially since it's a roguelike and you can't save any progression. frustrating as hell

whenever you dig down into a new stage, or at the very beginning when you jump, it just infinitely falls and never lands

i just got this issue too, i happened once, much later in the game, it was a good run too, just used the skeleton key.
anyways if there are any devs here i have the logs if you want them.

I just ran into this issue as well. Just used the skeleton key in Magic Landfill, beat the boss, jumped down into Grub Pit, and now it's stuck there...
