And multiversus is not "free"... Free game doesn't exist
Let's be honest, will you buy a pvp game that has no one in it? I won't for sure.
F2P + skins is the only way to have active games nowadays
casuals don't buy games but they buy skins and battle passes
Yes it is free to play, check your knowledge.
Not really true, problem is that NASB never really had enough to justify costing as much as it did, even though its a great game, people would care less about the lack of content and just care about the base good game if it wasn't as much as actual smash bro's.
It will suck for the people that payed, though you could prolly offset that by letting those that paid get a few free dlc characters or something idk
I just played through arcade mode a couple times. There's something too light and simple about the feel of this game. Feels like they skimped on the animations too much, have it locked at a low framerate, or some other core design issue that leaves movement and attacking not feeling... substantive. It needs that weightiness to the action. This would not be something I would pick over MultiVersus.
But, it does have some fantastic Nickelodeon characters and the graphics are wonderful! That's all fun enough for me to play each of the characters at least once or twice in arcade mode. Maybe try to get in an online match or two. I don't see coming back to this, though.
And MultiVersus isn't F2P in the way you could just 'make' this game F2P. You get one consistent character to play as and you have to unlock, buy, or play the rest on a rotation of three free characters at a time. Which isn't bad, it's just not as F2P as some may think.
I don't think that's good long-term idea, capts
