GameCube controller bugged?

Im using Mayflash Adapter + GameCube controller and it seems to be working for others, but i can only move the stick like a +, and not in a circle/diagonally, anyone know a fix for this? works fine in dolphin

Friend is having same issue, can't find a fix anywhere on the internet atm

It still happens in the character select, but in game diagonals work fine. What I did Right Click the game in the Library > Properties > Controller > Enable Steam Input under Generic Controller. I also have the mayflash adapter for my GC controller.

I fixed it by putting my adapter to Wii-U and downloaded extra drivers for it, then it worked in game
