Ludosity is a great developer, and I'm glad they got the chance to work on this... but it's undeniably the inferior product.

I think it's just unfinished. (Like pretty much every game on release is these days. It's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.) The devs had people in suits behind them with whips, demanding that it be released by a certain date.
This game needs a few patches and a few injections of content before my final verdict personally.

Exactly, and Slap City DOESN'T have that. Slap City is a passion project made with love and care on THEIR TIME and it's infinitely superior for it.

Play Slap City instead. Support Ludosity. Don't play this.

This is still the strangest game conceived in past few years. It's a corporate cashgrab by Nickelodeon but apparently it's also a genuinely good fighting game (or so I've heard).

You might want to still bite into this one with the mindset that perhaps under the atrocious visuals, lack of voice acting, pushed unrealistic deadlines and corporate greed is a good game.

problem is it's gonna take a while for alot of the major problems to get fixed, while slapcity is already finished. you can tell they never intended for the game to have this many eyes on it by looking at the bad animations on last couple of characters they showed announced and the balance of the game. and even if those get fixed slapcity will still have better gameplay and controls.

imo the game looks great. Plays great. Doesnt need voices although Ive heard people say they think it will get them eventually, Idk if thats true but yea. Most important thing is gameplay and boy does this have fun gameplay

some twisted principle of standards? i have both and they are completely different games, i doubt playing Slap City with it's Clutch mechanic can be the same as playing Smash Bros Nick
