I dont know why I feel so compelled to write a review for this game but here I am. Corpse factory is an interesting game that for me at least, going in blind, was not what I expected it to be, which was both good and bad. This game was designed for basically the entire cast to be awful villains, which works in some ways and fails in other. Tomoe and Kojiro were the only ones I felt like it worked for and on both ends of the spectrum, however kojiro was for me the only compelling character. The prologue is decent, a nice hook. Act 1 overstays it's welcome to me. Act 2 I think is paced the best and is the most intriguing, it had me interested enough to finish the rest of the VN in the same night. Act 3 I think is repetitive and a little bit rushed. However I feel that the conclusion with the true ending is satisfying enough to make the journey worth it. Sadly, it is impossible to review this game without mentioning just how unrealistic and stupid so many of the characters are. In a real scenario the cops would've had a much better handle on this and shut the websites down instantly, a lot of plot armor exists in order to keep the story flowing in the direction the writer wants it to. The art is well done, and the music is mostly just good except for one choir track that is excellent. Overall, I think this game *is* worth it, it's just worth mentioning that if you don't like kojiro as much as I did I don't know if I can guarantee that you'll enjoy it as much as I ended up.
