Shadow Man: 2econd Coming

Now that we got Shadow Man Remastered it would be bloody sweet if NightDive would find a way to bring us the sequel to PC!

Bring us the sequel and finish it from my understanding it was rushed and actually only 2/3 complete.

2econd Coming was a very nice looking game, but mechanically and gameplay-wise, it was pretty garbo. They'd have to do a much bigger overhaul *if* they planned on improving on it.

Also, the tone and art style of the second game is completely different. It's waaaay more over the type and leans into the comic book influence (Yeah, I know, sm started as a comic.) It's doesn't have that unsettling, dark atmosphere full of the cool little details.

Also, while I'm sure Nick Arundel worked very hard on the soundtrack, it really didn't fit the way Tim Haywoods music did.

Damn, is it really that bad? I was excited when I found out there is a sequel but I guess there is a reason I never heared about it before.

I've seen videos of it, and it looks like a Saturday morning cartoon version of Shadowman. Pretty disappointed with the direction they took with it.

It's not this bad, it's a fun game. But, it is very different from the first, it lost many of the defining elements from this one and you even have to find the Shadow Gun and it is not very early. And the level design is... complicated, too say the least. But in my opinion it would be great if the game has a second chance (no pun intended) on PC, just like Turok 3, as both are locked to their original platforms and suffers from almost the same problems like bad framerate and poor level design.

Yeah, tonally it is completely different. They learned into the comic book aspect way too hard. The first one can be campy at times, but it was mixed with an incredibly dark and chilling atmosphere

Second Coming is a horrible game. It pretty much was the downspiral of Acclaim.
