I recommend using DDS style buffs, display buffs, and mini map instead of compass mods for QOL. Makes the TDE a lot more fun and doable in one playthrough.

You can't call this a "modernized version of the acclaimed ATLUS classic, Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne" when I have to download mods to make the game more playable, and even then, the game isn't problem-free (e.g. cutscenes aren't playing). It's a shame too because this is my first entry into the mainline SMT games, which at this point, I'm probably better off emulating the original PS2 version.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ PRAYING that ATLUS doesn't drop the ball with the upcoming Raidou Remastered (let alone ANY other old games they decide to "remaster"), like they did here. Do better, ATLUS.

But in all seriousness, this is a beautiful game. If only there was some way for the music to be uncompressed wink wink. Would not recommend willingly to people if they can't handle challenges, would share this with people who could appreciate the overall themes and content as presented and slightly modified as well wink wink
