Keyboard Mapping broken

I played the game for about an hour or so up until the save just before the first fight with Forneus. Quit out, and then a little less than 24 hours booted the game up again to play it.

For some reason, despite me having played the game Keyboard and mouse, the keyboard no longer works at all, no input works at all. I checked the config and key binds, and they don't exist for some reason. The key binds for the keyboard have all completely vanished, and the game doesn't register any attempts to manually rebind the keyboards buttons for use.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game but it had no change. Removing and re-adding my keyboard doesn't work as well, and all other games/apps on my computer work fine, it's only this game that's the issue.

did you plug in some usb device that you didnt have before? maybe vr equipment/controllers or similar stuff? try unplugging if so

I hadn't plugged anything in or unplugged anything other than my keyboard while trying to fix the issue. The actual issue happened about two hours ago and I decided to just try to play the game using mouse controls about ten minutes ago, but now the keyboard works again. Couldn't explain why, but might be the issue will resolve itself after awhile. No idea what caused it to begin with though.

Apoologies if youve kinda gotten over it but ive found a fix. I havent really pinpointed what causes this but i have found a potental (if not irritating) fix. one plausable result if youre running window is opening device manager, going under the HID compliant devices section and seeing if its try to connect a controller through there. If you disable it it sometimes fixes it. However because of the reasons why sometimes this doesnt work. if it doesnt work walk up to a save termial or get into a demon battle. I personally sweep the keyboard until it starts accepting inputs. I dont know why it works. I dont know why i get it to work consistently when in the amala terminal save screen but it works every time. Im not even sure what key or combonation of keys renenables the keyboard however It has worked for me most of the time.
again sorry if this is a late response but i havent seen anyone even try to hunt down a fix for this so i recon it is either a rare issue or an issue nobody really talks about.
