They also decided to bundle DLC alongside it ($70 to have everything). I could have justified the $50 price tag a little better if the DLC wasn't being sold separately and was instead included in the base game.
That was not on the initial release that was added on update 1.04 after a lot of complaining
Granted, this game has better visuals and gameplay features going for it compared to the original. However, I would have at least liked an option for a higher framerate given its price tag. My apologies, I should have been more clear in what I was trying to say.
All I wanted to say to counter your original point is that yes, adding content does cost money. However, if the rest of the features aren't on par in terms of the quality that other remasters have seen to be able to pull off, is that additional cost worth it? That's subjective and each person will think differently as to what's worth it or not. However, other remasters have added content while having made higher quality ports as well. The extra DLC on top of it all in this game just makes it feel even worse.
I just wish Atlus would have done a better job on top of everything else they have added.
I'm happy to have something as close to the original experience as possible.
