The Chronicle Pack DLC is included in your game purchase as free DLC in select territories. This DLC introduces Devil Summoner’s Raidou Kuzunoha as an alternate character branch for the game. Once installed, select ‘New Game: Chronicle” to begin a new game file with this branch.

We encourage you to download this DLC and face off against Raidou in SMT III!

Chronicle is the game with Raidou, Maniax is with Dante, and the standard New Game is the og version with neither. On PC at any rate.

You would lose out on a whole extra dungeon that give new story content, new bosses, new recruitable demons, and a new ending. For the love of YHVH, please download the free Chronicles DLC.

either that or maniax, I hear chronicle is slightly easier, but I don't think it really matters

It should be absolutely the same except for a skin

so i think i get it but just to be really clear about it : chronicles gives you the amala labyrinth + the 2 demon + true demon ending with raidou instead of dante ? ( i played lucifer's call back in the day )
amirite ?
so maniax dlc is just dante ?

Yeah, you pretty much got it. Maniax dlc is literally just Dante as long as you use the free Chronicles dlc.

I would also like to add that you can't have both Dante and Raidou on the same save file without making a New Game, so the Dante dlc is even less worth it. Unless, you seriously like Dante from the Devil May Cry Series and don't care about Raidou.

Do you have to choose New Game - Chronicle for the old Maniax content? I didn't see that option when I went to start a new game, it just says "New Game" and asks me to select a difficulty.

You must activate the Chronicle DLC first on the store page
New Game will not include the Chronicle pack content.

Why aren't these just part of the base game... i played for how long wondering where the option to play chronicles was, can you guys handling this port at least do anything right?

Anyone having problems installing the dlc??
