Differences (game mechanics) between the PS2 version and Remaster
Has anyone found any differences (beyond the obvious ones states by the publisher) in the PS2 version and remaster? For instance, I strongly feel that recruiting demons is easier in this version (I'm playing on normal.) There may also be differences in what the primary stats do, but I don't think anyone has verified this. Any changes you've noticed or is everything the same under the hood?

Based on what I read, there seem to be none. The method they use to determine your RNG might be different(since it's a remake in a new engine). That may be why you think recruiting is easier, since that's always been luck based.
Only difference are graphics, Merciful difficulty and voice over for most characters. Anything else are pretty much same.

This is the same game running in a unity wrapper. Nothing has been changed.

They added the ability to choose the skills in fusing demons. No more resetting and save scumming for the perfect move set for demons.
