New Game Chronicle or Maniax ?

hi, can i get the "true demon" ending if i start a new game Chronicle or i have to start on Maniax ? the only difference between them are Raidou end Dante so i don't lose anything if I play Chronicle instead of Maniax ?

Chronicle for Raidou, Maniax for Dante. You can get TDE on both of these.

Chronicle and Maniax are nearly identical to each other beyond Raidou/Dante dialogue/animations. Both include the Kalpas, the Fiends, and the True Demon Ending route.

I'm personally leaning towards going Chronicle for Raidou because it's obviously going to be more canon than Maniax for Dante. But then again Maniax makes for great crossover fanfiction fodder.
