It seems that the trigger is usually the travel power and the grip the attack, though the electric power apparently has no travel component and the wings apparently have no attack. If there were a tutorial, maybe more of this would make sense. The ice attack still shoots off at odd angles and is therefore useless. The web power is amusing during travel but doesn't seem to do anything in combat.
Even with a slightly better appreciation for Superfly, I would still give it a thumbs down. It's basically a tech demo and not truly a game.
The ice power functions kind of like Frozones ice trail, hold the trigger down to create an ice trail that pushes you forward. You can do this with either or both hands to move. The icicles you throw just like you were throwing something pointy in real life, hold the grip to make an icicle appear and then rear your hand back, and release the grip on the upswing. We will be working on an aim assist that will eventually help with things like throwing icicles.
The web does stick to things. The purpose being to shoot it at buildings so you can swing from them.
The claw allows you to pick up enemies and climb up buildings, the spinning part is to show you that you will damage things when it spins but not damage things (except if you slam them against the ground or something) when its not spinning.
Our game supports you making a running motion with your hands to run forward as well as move with the controls on your hands like the snap turn. So probably you made a running movement with your hands which caused you to jolt forward slightly without realizing.
The electric power is actually our fastest movement mode. Hold the grip, rear your arms back, then let go of the grip on the upswing. You'll go flying forward, and if you hold the grip again while mid air, you'll sort of freeze mid air and slowly fall.
The wings allow you to shoot feathers with the trigger button.
The web power allows you to tether things together, or throw balls of webs at enemies to freeze them in place. It is admittedly, one of the weaker attacks.
In case I haven't explained any of the controls well enough or have an error in my post, (It happens sometimes, there's a lot to keep up with) we also have an entire tutorial document with more complete instructions for all the powers. There are even more things you can do with the powers that I have not explained here, but are in the document. We hope to to get a more fully fleshed out tutorial sequence out at some point.

I hope that you'll consider going through this document, along with the information in my post. If you have any trouble still with the discord, please dm me directly on discord, my nickname is the [support admin contact].
I discovered a few things on my own and will experiment with the new details you've shared with me. I still can't give the game a thumbs up, but a working tutorial would help that!
