How to refill fuel?

Hello i´m at the seccond station on the first route (there is the first upgrade-shop in this station).
I´m almost out of fuel.
It does not reach for the third part of the route any more.

The robot-teacher from the tutorial told me to stay inside the ship and call the station with the comunicator-system.
But if i go through the boarding-tube, it opens the map of the route and i find no way to exit this map back into the station or just simply to be inside the docked ship.

How can i refill my fuel?

Hey there, maxi_franke !

You can only refuel if the connection you're in has a Service Station. In there you can talk to 3 different characters for Cleaning, Repairing or Refueling your ship!

If the connection doesn't have a Service Station, you'll have to find a refuelling station during the route, indicated as the gas pump symbol.

Hi! You have to answer the communicator twice one time for stopping and one for buying. If it's ringing you can pick up

Also make sure when near a gas station while traveling that you have power to the comms to be able to use it. Generally I would cut power to the thrusters and then swap it to comms to refuel or bring more passengers in

I am wondering, is there any way to get fuel when you run out or is it always game over? Because it makes fuel so much more important than all the other needs. Everything else you will just loose stars, but fuel is the immediate End.

Shouldn't there be a way to maybe call space-towing-service to tow your spacecraft for a massive fee / time loss / star loss? Or something similar.

when you use the communicator and land at the gas station you have to press A again, same for any other location you land at

Yeah, I worked out what happened - I installed the Game Pass version, which seems to have an updated and easier tutorial (or I did something horribly wrong), and as Visceral Shadow pointed out - I had no power for the Communicator.

Somehow this doesn't seem to get pointed out, or I missed something (maybe do power switching in the tutorial?) I know the capacity thing gets mentioned, but I didn't twig to the no power icon on the comms. I found out by flicking through the manual on the desk in the space station :D
