Can you create multiple characters in MH stories 2

Hello, just wanted to know if it's possible to create multiple characters in the game just like I could in MHW (one for myself and another for my brother).

It doesn't seem like it's possible but just wanna have some confirmation here.

The trial version is limited to one save, but you can have more than one in the full version. If I remember correctly there are more save slots that show when you try to save the game in the trial, but they can not be used.
