Is there any way to make a Fascist state in this game?
Say if you want to establish an authoritarian, totalitarian, fascist state, there are too few options.

For example, I tried every method possible to eliminate ethnic minorities. I enacted the harshest possible border controls, banned refugees from entering, enacted the harshest possible immigration rules, and clamped down on ethnic minorities via every means at my disposal.

I banned foreign religions, established a state church, enacted forced church attendance, enacted religion in schools, and installed national flags on every street corner. I also abolished laws protecting against racial discrimination.

Despite all this, I still was unable to get the ethnic minority population below 20%. I also could not completely eliminate immigration.

I would like to see more options in the game, such as "Deport immigrants", "Expel ethnic minorities", "Close the borders" and "Round up undesirables into prison camps".

Disclaimer: obviously, I do not advocate any of the above in real life. But I would like to see what happens in the game, for good or bad.

Is there any mod that offers something like this?

Thank you

Maybe cliffski will make a Facists and Dictators DLC at some point, adding authoritarian countries, policies, events and mechanics to the game.

He did say (I dont know where) that he wouldn't destroy democracy because that defeats the purpose of the game. However I believe that is an excellent idea
While it is interesting to experiment with tools which can lead away from 'Democracy' into the abyss of extremist governments left and right and their totalitarian rule, I doubt the title will ever let you do so. Because of title being the concept.
Things like coups and regime changes usually employ violence and there is no way of enacting a revolution or topple government in game.
I doubt the author wants to give a simulator how to do that and later hear this game is seen as a manual how to do regime change, by certain extremists. In a way, the game has a lesson at hands, teaching compromising which is the essence of a working democratic society. Going into extremism would indeed destroy that vision.
You could try 'Power & Revolution" game, if you dare. It allows turning your nation upside down and what not. However, it has constantly very mixed reviews and from what you read there, it is a mess.

The problem with allowing full on antithetical political parties into the system is the inherent uncertainty they represent. For instance at what point does the population say "enough is enough" and revolts? It might be funny to create a theocratic dictatorship where women are oppressed and men are forced into military service but if this is a "simulation" surely it can't be allowed to go too far in one direction or another. The people simply wouldn't stand for it.

Well, there already is an option to "Ban women from driving" in the game. It's also possible to have flags on every street and force people to attend church. The way I see it, the game presents us with a choice. We can make positive or negative choices for our nation.

Isn't that what this is all really about? Choices.

For good to exist in the world, there must also be bad, otherwise good has no meaning. So I should be able to lift my people out of poverty, introduce wonderful healthcare and education, make the country safe and prosperous. But I should also be able to turn my nation into a dystopian hellscape, where music is banned, a war economy is enacted, and people are deported to the gulag for the slightest transgression.

That's the nature of good and evil, of freedom of choice, isn't it?

And what is gameplay, if not choices? :)

I have a question. I just noticed there is a policy "ID cards" which does actually reduce immigration... but the political capital cost is 46. In my game, I cannot get my political capital above 44. This means I can never implement this policy.

How can I get more political capital? Thanks
I think your idea is very good.
我认为你的想法非常棒。

As for your question, I also want to ask, is there any way to establish a communist country in this game?
对于你的问题,我也想询问,有没有办法在这个游戏中建立共产国家?

There are some similarities between the two, totalitarianism, authority.
这两者之间有一些相似之处,极权,权威.

But there are many different ones.
但是也有很多不同之处.
