Cello automaton puzzle glitch

So I'm trying to solve this puzzle, I have the rods and the notes to move up and down the fret. The issue is, when I first started, I moved the top right rod down and it skipped over the bottom one. Now I cannot get it back up. I need the longer rod at the bottom so I can move G note to the bottom of the fret. I can't reset nor can I get the long one back to where it started.
Help please

Seems I have the same problem, cannot reach the second column, because "the short one" on the left and right is on top. It seems it is not possible to move the levers over each other.
What was the solution? Or am I missing something?

Hello,

To try to work around this issue, please try the following:

- find the folder C:\Users\*YOUR PROFILE*\%AppData%\Roaming\SyberiaTWB
- find the files called "save_XX_Segment_PresentXX.bin" or "save_XX_Segment_FlashbackXX.bin"; those are archives of your current game
- rename one of the recent files to "save.bin" and replace the current file with that same name
- start the game
- select your profile
- use "Continue" to load your game

This should allow you to replay this part without restarting the entire game. I hope this solves the problem in your progress.
